Early  (1st Wave ) Civilizations

By 35ooBCE there were several changes taking place across the globe.  Many  sites began to produce consistent and reliable agricultural surpluses that enabled them to develop larger populations and more sophisticated and complex societies.  These cultural hearths were experiencing what Gordon Childe referred  to as the Urban Revolution.  The focus of this unit centers on the exploration of the innovative sites of this age.
