Hi all,

Do your best on the two assignments given this Thursday and Friday. We will talk about them on Monday together as a class. The review session in preparation for your first writing assignment has been moved to Tuesday after school. I expect that we will have that writing assignment in class on Wednesday. However, we will make adjustments as necessary. Have a good weekend.

Tonight's assignment is a little disjointed, so I thought a brief description might be helpful.
1. Read the section from the Spodek text entitled State Formation - it begins on pg. 115
This link will take you to the page to access the text
2. Watch the video about the archaeological dig site at Anyang.  In total it is 44 minutes long.  If you are crunched for time watch at least the fist 12 minutes.  I t is really interesting and you can learn a lot!  The video is embedded on our website, click the link below to take you directly to it.

Talk about timely...Read this article when you get a chance.  Our understanding of Ancient History is always changing.
I guess I better change my slide show for next year:)
